All Sailor Moon Characters

  I assume that many of you; especially if you are female and/or Japanese, have either read or watch 美少女戦士セーラームーン at one time or another.  美少女戦士セーラームーン is the renowned Japanese franchise better know in English speaking countries as Sailor Moon.  Today my friend e-mailed me; stating that, Sailor Neptune, & Sailor Uranus are gay for each other (as seen in this picture) (Neptune has teal hair and Uranus has tan hair).  As a child, i had an obsession for their movies.  However, i do not recall ever knowing this keen fact nor anything like it.  I do not even recall Little Sailor Moon (light pink hair).  Moreover, it was just a few years ago that i even knew what "gay" meant in modern terms, and even more recently that i knew that "lesbian" was even a word.  So if no viewer knew this, then what was the point of adding it to the plot?
  Now i do not know about you; but for me, i have no memory of the plot from my childhood.  And this goes with a lot of children books, movies, & shows; including: "Bambi", "Dumbo", & "Pinocchio".  I guaranty you, that if you re-watch childhood movies, that you will release that, as a child, you knew close to nothing about the plot.
  So if this is true, then why do they make children movies so complex?  (Before answering this i must state, that i have no history in the study of movies nor am i claiming that i do.)  To answer this, i could simply state that i have no clue; however that would render this post useless, a redundant type, i refer to my first post "Logic = The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints".  However, there are two main ideas for this occurrence.  The first is the only retort i receive when i vent about this annoyance to my family, & friends.  They all believe that this occurs so that the movie apples to people of all ages.  However, as an adult, i am not disappointed if a CHILDREN movie is not entertaining.  Additionally, as a child, i would hate to be too STUPID understand why the ADULTS are laughing at a CHILDREN movie!  To end this idea nicely, i disagree with it.
  My belief is that movie makers add these fact, that are incomprehensible for a child, in a children movie because of their own naïveness.  It is my belief that movie makers do not release these fact, & jokes are too aged or that too high of education is needed to comprehend.  However, this would be only true if they want to be logical, & nice.  If not, then they might as well be doing so to confuse the poor child.  Even if they do so to be evil, they have failed as the child will not blame them for (1) they do not think that way and (2) they are too innocent.
  In conclusion, whatever the reason maybe for these added incomprehensibles, stupidity is involved with the movie maker.

Logic = The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints

  I would first like to welcome everyone to this blog.  I truly find welcomes redundant; therefore, this will be the first, & last greeting in my blog.  I would like you to think about it for a second...  As part of the American culture we always ask, "How are you?", but how many of us or rather how many times have you actually cared, & listened to the reply MEANINGFULLY?  probably close to never.  Personally, i rather not even be acknowledged if the person does not care.  And to make this even more favorable, its not economically friendly.  Every time one says or writes something meaningless they waste energy and why? to be polite? well it is not! If someone asked if i were dieing from lost of air and i replied with yes, and then for them to do nothing would be a waste for me.  Moreover, in absolutely no way would i ever think that they were polite; i rather save that breathe for someone who cares!  Now if you have some reason to retort this claim, please voice it and straightway too.

  Now to the title of this post, "Logic = The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints".  If you have no clue what that even means you are okay.  Logic is... well if you do not know what that means either ask a friend or look it up in a dictionary.  The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (LDS) on the other hand... is a religion whose major difference from other Christian churches is that they have three other holy books; namely: "The Book of Mormon", "The Doctrine and Covenants", & "The Perl of Great Price".  "The Book of Mormon" is essentially "The Bible" except written by native Americans.  "The Doctrine and Covenants", & "The Perl of Great Price" are modern revelation from the 1800s.  For more information that is reliable click here and here.

  Onto the core of this post, just like any other Sunday, today i went to church.  And i type this to state that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is the truth, & logic of life eternal.  All science is condemned to its truth.  No truth is not in line with this gospel; the creation of the world itself is outlined in its doctrine and by no other law save it be subject to God's, & ours.  I bare this witness to you, that God lives and has a body of flesh & bones, that Jesus Christ is his ONLY begotten son of the Father and that He is a being unto Himself.  Also, i know that Christ suffered the atonement because he so loved the world; and through this we all can be forgiven and our sins forgotten.  And at the last days we all shall rise again above the devil in one accord to bring peace, & the gospel of truth unto all, Amen!

  I bare my witness unto you, that if you seek for a true church with a faithful heart that you will know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is true!

HieroKnowledge

This post is for the explanation behind the title "HieroKnowledge".

Greek depiction of heaven

  Being a linguist i must begin with the morphemes.  The affix hier(o)- is derived from the Greek word, ιερός, meaning "sacred"; and knowledge is the combination of the word, know, & the affix, -ledge.  Know is derived from the Anglo-Saxon verb, (ge)cnāwan, meaning "to know" and -ledge is derived from the Anglo-Saxon affix, "-lāc", which has an unknown meaning.  So essentially, hieroknowledge means "holy knowledge"; however, this is only the fat of the milk.

  Yes holy means "of god", "sacred", "worthy" et cetera and yes i do type about religion; however, holy can also be associated with the word heavenly.  Now, heavenly is an very interesting word as it has it relationships to God, & to greatness.  In this context i also use holy to mean "great"; so now hieroknowledge can also be simplified to "great knowledge".

  And from here we can now compare great to the affix, poly-.  Poly- is a latin affix meaning "many"; in my context hieroknowledge is a synonym to polyknowledge.  In this sense, i refer to my knowledge of many things: language, mythology, literature, writing, & religion.

  Now you may be saying, "Well i knew what poly- meant "many" so why did you not just call it "Polyknowledge" or more simply "A Lot of Knowledge"?"  Well first off, "A Lot of Knowledge" sound no where as cool as "HieroKnowledge"; secondly, "Polyknowledge" neither covers all the meanings of hieroknowledge nor does it sound as intellectual.  Additionally for you as the reader, you can amaze your friends by saying, that you read a blog called "HieroKnowledge" and tell them EXACTLY what it means.

  In conclusion, i chose the title "HieroKnowledge" to depict the content within.  The blog states religious information as well as many other subjects.  Additionally, the use of such an elaborate concept adds to the depiction of linguistics.  And lastly,  the capitalization of the "k" in "knowledge" emphasizes the importance of its meaning as well as breaks down the word as a whole.

I hope that this post has given you at least a greater appreciation for linguist, if not a desire to learn more.
